Every summer, thousands of high school and middle school students come to Timber Wolf Lake for a week of adventure, fun and a chance to consider a relationship with God. All of this takes place in the breathtaking landscape of northern Michigan’s rolling hills and dense forests!

Coming from every area around the country with their local Young Life groups and leaders, students get to know one another, eat great food, and laugh a lot. They meet new people from around the country, try new activities, step out of their comfort zones and hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ presented in a way teens can understand.

Safety

Young Life and Timber Wolf Lake maintain the highest level of safety and standards in operation of all of our activities at camp.

All of Timber Wolf Lake's challenge course elements (ropes course, tall timbers, swing, and zip line) are inspected and approved by The Association of Challenge Course Technology and by Adventure Experiences, Inc. All elements are operated and supervised by our staff who have been fully trained and certified to do so, ensuring your child's comfort and safety.

Timber Wolf Lake's fat tire bikes and timber carts programs are also facilitated by trained and experienced staff. Your child will be in good hands while at Timber Wolf Lake.

In the event of an unexpected accident, there is always a qualified medical professional on call to tend to your child's needs. Also, if needed, the local hospital is only a short drive away.
